FIBRAS

Overview

I directed a video for Argentine artist Guadalupe Gómez-Verdi about her powerful work "Fibras", a textile-based process that explores themes of womanhood, identity, the body, memory, skin, materiality, and texture. Through this project, the past and present coemerge, intertwining affection and effect as they are invoked and revived. The video captures the visceral essence of "Fibras", highlighting the work's profound connection to emotional and physical landscapes, where the fabric itself becomes a canvas for both memory and identity.
