Overview
Diving Bell has long time forgotten in the depths of the oceans. An ancient chant mark his destiny. A call to resurface water to meet his past, and his land; which it is now a cracked, dry desert. As hypnotic songs, voices will guide Diving Bell to the oasis that take it back to the deep sea to be reunited with their origins, and there reborn the world.

Inspiration
Memory of Diving Bell is a poetic short film inspired by the Selk’nam people, the original inhabitants of Patagonia in present-day Argentina and Chile. Nearly exterminated, the Selk’nam live on through memory—fluid, eternal, and ever-flowing like water. The film meditates on water as a catalyst for memory, exploring how it holds, carries, and revives stories long submerged. Through evocative imagery and a contemplative tone, Memory of Diving Bell becomes a tribute to cultural survival, ancestral presence, and the invisible threads that connect past and present.
